The Philadelphia Catholic Medical Student Association (CMSA) sponsors a variety of activities and conferences during each academic year. Students at the local professional schools also organize conferences and other activities of interest to members of the CMSA. If you are hosting an event at your school that you think would be of interest to medical or health professional students in the area, contact us and we'll try to publish it here. At Temple Med. Spring Semester, 2008 The Temple Med. CMSA is hosting lunch time gatherings every other Thursday throughout the semester. These meetings will be led by students who volunteer to lead a discussion on various topics of our Catholic identity and how this relates to our lives as medical students and future medical professionals. The dates for upcoming discussions are: March 6 and 20th. Location is one of the Kresge Mezzanine conference rooms. Fr. Mahoney, the CMSA chaplain, will be celebrating Mass for all who wish to attend next Wednesday, February 13th at 5:15 PM in one of the Kresge Mezzanine conference rooms. We invite you and anyone else you wish to invite to join us. Some of the students will be having an informal dinner afterwards. Summer Internship Program Looking for a summer job? Dr. Chris O'Hara of the Philadelphia Catholic Medical Association is looking for medical students who are interested in transforming the culture to a culture of life who may also want an opportunity to connect regularly with a Catholic physician mentor.
